Each week discover the exhibitors of FAB PARIS 2023

This week, discover two silver vases proposed by Galerie Kunsthaus Kende, a brooch showcased by Galerie Feng J. Haute Joaillerie and a bronze sculpture chosen by Galerie Cybèle.

Kunsthaus Kende

The gallery Kunsthaus Kende was founded by Christopher Kende prior to his studies in history of art in 2001.

Since every period and every style has generated excellent works in silver, the gallery is not restricted in the chronology of its objects. They therefore place silver works by contemporary artists on an equal level with antique objects. The quality of manufacture, preservation as well as the art-historical significance of the individual piece are their aspects in the selection of antique works, while with modern objects they focus in particular on extraordinarily unconventional and ingenious design approaches of young artists.

In March 2022, ‘Feuille de Ginkgo’ brooch was accepted as one of the permanent collections in Musée des arts décoratifs in Paris, which made FENG J the youngest jeweler to have creation appear in prestigious art institution.

FENG J’s creativity for jewelry is painting with gemstones, as if the impressionist painted with the light, hue and shadow. With the style of color combination by ‘Double Rose-cut’ gemstones, FENG J also invented ‘Floating Set’ to make her very own recognition and push the boundary of arts and craftsmanship.
