Philippe Esteves Mendes opened a gallery in 2007 in the heart of the “golden triangle” of the Parisian right bank where French and Italian painting from the 16th to the 19th centuries finds a setting full of freshness and happy surprises. Care and audacity characterize his approach and the confrontation of the works on offer gives the gallery this little “cabinet of curiosity” side that is its soul.

His desire to energize the atmosphere that usually surrounds old paintings is reflected in frequent exhibitions in which he expresses his taste and his passion. They give rise to the publication of an abundantly illustrated catalog, written by art historians. The strong character of the paintings and drawings presented seduces collectors and institutions.

Philippe Esteves Mendes, member of the Syndicat National des Antiquaires participates in internationally renowned fairs such as BRAFA, the Biennale des Antiquaires of Paris, the Biennale of Roma…
